"In my dreams, I'm strong, I'm tall, I'm wise..."
"A memorable blend of rock & roll, ballads and gospel."

24 Hours takes place in present-day urban Los Angeles at a peer-crisis center. The hotline primarily receives calls from teenagers in peril or pain; most-times urgent, sometimes not so urgent, but no less needy.
The volunteers are mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds and have pulled themselves up from the brink, in their own unique ways. They have found a home at the center taking calls from those like themselves; trying to help them not make the same mistakes they did. The volunteers are proof that pulling it together is possible. Some of them live at the center, while trying to find gainful employment and/or finish school. Others have jobs but take as much time as possible to "stay on the line."
This particular summer, due to the concern of a quirky guidance counselor, high school senior Brian Hopkins, a "suburbanite," shows up to volunteer before going to college in the fall. Throughout his experience at the center, Brian is put through a series of life-jolting decisions surrounded by the most colorful group of people he has ever encountered. In-turn, the other volunteers at the center learn a thing or two from Brian as well. It is this journey of self-realization, from initiation to full transformation, which alters the lens through which Brian views himself, and society as a whole.
